A mineral thermal river runs here, heated by the earth itself. In 1993 the idea was simple and remains intact: bring that water to the pools without taking away the forest.
THE ORIGIN
Architecture in the mist
The colonial galleries were raised around the water, not the other way round. Three decades later, the steam still rises every morning among the same trees.
The heat of our waters is geothermal: born of the earth, not a boiler. And the forest that surrounded the resort in 1993 is the same one that surrounds it today, cared for by San Carlos hands.
